Trauma based Art Therapy Interventions can bring order to traumatic experiences by creating links to nonverbal memories so that dissociated memories may be organized and processed in a meaningful way. Through artistic expression clients are able to think creatively, explore in a safe environment and further treatment goals.

About Ina Von Wunsch
Ina von Wunsch is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT # 128159, and a Clinical Art Therapist registered through the American Art Therapy Association # 21 - 210 , 7/1/2023 as well as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, awaiting Licensure as LPCC. Ina also holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Hunter College, NY in Mixed Media and has earned additional Credit from California Southern University in Crises and Trauma Counseling. Prior to Bayside Marin in San Rafael, CA Ina worked in East Bay & North Bay Community Health & Residential settings for 6 years, serving Children and At-Risk Youth ages 7 to 21 struggling with Developmental Trauma, C-PTSD, Self harm, Juvenile detention, Family and Caretaker imprisonment and substance use in combination with co-occurring mental health disorders. In this setting Ina continued her training in Social Justice Art Therapy facilitating Amplification of Voice, Cultural Humility & Crisis Family Intervention.
